 There is no need to refrain.  

 One of the things I have learned, and come to respect, here on CC is that everyone does not view everything the same.  I agree 100% that pre-cruise the MSC for Me app is not as useful as the Celebrity or Royal Caribbean app.  But I have learn to accept that.  However, for my purposes it meets my specific needs very well once I embark.  

 I understand and accept that this is not the same for you.  

 

p.s.  The IBM 360/20 brings back some fond and no so fond memories.  Somewhere in my memorabilia I have a platter from a disk pack that crashed when I was on duty causing an outage. They degaussed the disk, took the pack apart, and had each platter engraved and gave to the senior people on watch at the time it happened.

1. MSC Account Login -  you can see all your bookings if you loaded them in. 

2. Log in with Booking Number - you only see that one booking.

Just got back from a cruise on the Seashore.

I never was able to find menus on the app. The only way to get bar or MDR menus was by scanning the QR code once we were at the venue? Where did you find that?

Also, for us, the hours were always wrong on the app as the main search never updated the aggregate times. You would only get accurate hours and open/close status once you drilled fully down to an individual location on the map.

In the app, iirc, you click on Restaurants, click on one of the main dining rooms, and then click on menu.

I'm totally stressed out with MSC & Me, and actually with MSC itself. I booked a cruise that's to leave Saturday. Early on, I found I could not add the beverage package without paying double (I am sailing solo). I called the Casino number since I booked through them and the man I spoke to told me that they added a 2nd passenger named Guest to my booking. He said something about the cabin I am booked in is not available to a solo cruiser. I didn't book the cabin itself - they did. Eventually, he was able to change Guest to my name and booked the drink package. A few days ago when I discovered the sale on the beverage package, I called back to see if I could re-book at the cheaper price. They were able to do that for me with no extra charge and said I would get a refund in "one or two billing cycles". No problem. I already paid so wasn't that concerned. I've been unable to do anything with the app at all, but had not checked in the second version of me. I now have checked me back in. All was good until I wondered if I could do more if I logged out and logged back in with my booking number. I now see the cruise, but neither of the two "guests" registered show my photo. The area where my photo was is grayed out now for both "guests". I can't click on either one to go further. I logged out and re-logged in using my email and password with the same result. I uninstalled and re-installed the app - nothing worked. I tried calling but they're closed. I will have to call tomorrow to find out what I can do. Meanwhile, does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks, still waiting for MSC Casino to open. Not just my photo, but all of my info is gone - passport, dining time, etc. When I open the app, it shows my cruise, when I click on that, it takes me to the blank photos. When I click on either of those, it says an error has occurred. Luckily, I had downloaded and printed the ticket but not sure what their computers will show at the terminal.

Are you able to view the sailing by logging into the MSC web site instead of the app?

My experience is that they have been very good at check-in with resolving these annoying issues.  I would print everything out and bring it along to help expedite the process.
