If you're a Costco member check online for prices/rental company options.

We went thru Costco and used Enterprise.   There are 2 other agencies that share the same office with Enterprise right at the port.  Very easy drop off.  They had a shared shuttle that dropped us at our ship.

They have a deal with Avis, go online to Amazon/avis.car rental.

They have had it for about 5 years.

Huh.  I didn't know that!  Thanks for the tip!

NATIONAL/ENTERPRISE/ALAMO has a shared location at the port

in order of distance away (none more than a couple of miles)

HERTZ (this one was closed during COVID but I've heard it is open now)

BUDGET

THRIFTY/DOLLAR and AVIS across the road

But also try AARP

Thanks for that tip...completely overlooked that option.  I got a great deal on an overnight rental at virtually half off the full price!

Is there an Avis Shuttle that takes you to the Avis Office? The Office is off site according to the Avis map.

they all have shuttles .... one BIG factor is to look at the port schedule for your day.

A busy day with 4 bigger ships turning around makes the rental car places turn into nightmares. As the port has grown some infrastructure - like the rental car offices - hve NOT kept up

find schedule here - they show about 6 months ...

consider today for example (orange) 4 ships ..... with one a monsterimage.png.149f2329be223017de868dafcddf632e.png

compared to 4th with only one (yelllow) .... there have been days with SIX SHIPS arriving .... I stay far away from the port on those days!

<in the past they showed pass' capacity on this chart .... I think that scared people so they stopped>

Thanks for this.  We arrive 3 Dec on the Equinox.  Our ship is the only arrival in the early morning so we should be ok.

Do you have any idea how big the Avis lot is?  I haven't been to Cocoa Beach in years, but I recollect it was small  I am concerned about inventory.

It is small,, that is what I was worried about when we rented this past Feb, , but they had vehicles, so it worked out.
