One of the things that I love are grits, especially with two eggs, poached or over easy. I find most of the time they are too 'watery' for my taste. I am hoping they are special in a good, and not bad, way

I also expect they are not as good as someone's down-home, family recipe grits. They are "special" only because I cannot resist a reference to My Cousin Vinny. Rare FamilyAtSea.travel Posted June 21 #304 Share Posted June 21 As a proper southerner, I have trouble believing a European cruise line could make proper grits, but I'll give them a try the next time we're on MSC to see for myself.

As proper Southerner as well I found the grits surprisingly satisfactory. But aren’t grits more of an individual taste than wine? 😀

Rare morpheusofthesea Posted June 21 Author #311 Share Posted June 21 Well the YC beach has new sand. Still need water shoes to get over a 6 foot section of rocks, but once in the surf okay. Wonder how long this will last. March to August is sea lice/ jellyfish season. May to October is seaweed season February March and August September is red tide season. So it appears the best time to swim in the Ocean is November, December and January. Mustafa, our YC Director, is a hands on always present amiable gentleman. He told us that the waters of the lagoons are treated for jellyfish and he personally waded into the surf to test the newly treated waters for over an hour and a half....no stings.
