Free shuttle in Monaco (Monte Carlo)

Does anybody know if there is a free shuttle from where Azamara dock in Monaco (Nouvelle Digue I believe) into town and back please? If there is does anybody know the drop off /pickup point as well? I will be embarking there on July 6th and will be getting the train from Nice to Monaco station and any help with luggage would be a bonus rather than a longish walk to the dock.

Where the ship docks is already in town.

The walk from the Monte Carlo train station to the ship is not too bad as long as you make sure to take the escalator from the station which takes you right down to street level opposite the marina. It’s a level walk from there past the casino supermarche and shops around to the dock.

Thanks for that information. Yes from what I could work out it doesn't look too bad a walk, just though there might be an outside chance of a shuttle operating.

If you are arriving at Nice airport, there is a bus #80 from the airport to Monte Carlo, an hourly or 1/2 hourly service leaving from Platform 1 at Terminal 2, or 5 minutes later from Terminal 1. You can buy the tickets online or at Terminal 2 Gate 3. Timetable 2.00 2.45 3.15  3.45 etc.

Arrives at Monaco Sporting Bay Hotel 55 minutes later, however closest bus stop to the port is Place d'Armes, or if you miss that one, the next stop at Princess Antoinette. Look at the map on Google Maps and you will see where the bus stops are.

We are also on the 6th July cruise and will get the train from the airport and will probably walk from St Devote corner along the Bvd Albert 1er and then along Quai Antoine 1er to the cruise terminal. Have walked it a number of times previously but not with suitcases! My wife won’t be happy. .

HalifaxYorksCruiser - I have read that the St Devote exit from the station is steps only(no lifts or escalators). I was planning to use the port Hercule exit which I believe has escalators down. I think the exit comes out in Grimaldi Street which is close to St Devote, so the walk should be similar.

Yes the Port Hercule exit is the one we have used before which comes out at the St Devote Grand Prix track corner ( not the St Devote church) . It’s escalators only so might be a bit of a struggle with case and hand luggage.

It looks easy but this is a fair walk, even without luggage and you need to change moving walkways often! I guess it depends how much luggage you have.... but I wouldn't be looking forward to it!

My wife asked me yesterday how far it was . Oh not far I said 🤣🤣🤣
