Hmmm...."fewer cruises". What does that mean? HAL is doing a number of longer, somewhat more unique,cruises out of the West Coast. So fewer departures from the West Coast, yes, but no fewer ships. And, for 2025-26 Fall-Spring, N. Amsterdam will take Koningsdam's place, so fewer beds. But not fewer ships.

Typical journalism today. A bit like this report. I'm sure there will be a catch somewhere, but 120% on a large ticket item loke a cruise is nothing to sneeze at. Interesting to say the least as I don't ever remember a cruise line offering anything more than a price match (although pre-covid I only booked last minute cruises so it wouldn't have applied).
