Entertainment Reservations Open - Aug 25 Wonder of the Seas Sailing

Recommended Posts

Just a heads up that entertainment options are open for reservations on the 8/25 WOTS sailing.  I think typically this would have opened up on July 1 (the 1st of the month prior to your sailing month), so seems they have released this early.

That routine is long gone for several ships. My July 14th Wonder sailing opened 60 days out in mid-May. It seems that roughly 60 days may be the new norm (for Wonder at least).

My sailing on the wonder is September 8. Where would I look to see if that entertainment schedule is available?

Under the Entertainment tab in the cruise planner on the website. You can also use the app but I much prefer the website.

You probably don't have to start looking until early July but ya never know.

I saw that the entertainment was open but it didn’t look like everything was listed.  I didn’t see the water show or the headliners

InTENse is the aqua show, is it not there? Headliners don't have reservations.

Welcome to CC.

Set the app to the current sailing (not yours) and see the list of shows available - assume the same thing will be available on your sailing and eventually may be available for booking.

I am on that sailing. 4 shows available so far. Aqua show not on CP yet. And not booking the Effectors......once was enough!😁

That's unusual but something may be up with Wonder's aqua show.

We were on the June 2nd sailing. On the morning of Day 7 the CD announced there would be a special, different aqua show that night at 8 & 10pm (InTENse ran all week as usual). It appeared in the app (no reservations required) as "Aqua Nation." I later learned that's the name of the show on Symphony. Unfortunately there were technical difficulties with the pool/stage and it was cancelled.

I sail again on July 14th and InTENse is listed as usual with reservations. However, I also noticed that the June 30th sailing has Aqua Nation listed for day 7 at 8 & 10pm in addition to InTENse (again, no reservations).

Not sure what any of this means but since I've seen InTENse twice (which was enough for us) and never been on Symphony, I'd love to see Aqua Nation.

Scratch that, not there anymore. Who knows what they're doing? 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for sharing this information! We have a cruise booked on the WOTS starting Sep 22 and just realized we have to make reservations to go to some of the shows. We have now marked our calendar to make sure we start looking for the reservation options to appear on the App around July 22, if I’m understanding what you’re saying.

No problem. Yes, you have it right, except you don’t HAVE TO have reservations. They’re good to have and I’d get them if you can but every show has a standby line and it’s not difficult to get into any of them that way (with the occasional exception of adult comedy b/c the venue is small).

One other thing to sign up for if it interests you is the escape room. It’s free on Wonder but requires reservations like the shows and tends to fill up quickly.

Will you be doing a trip report/ review/ live ? I would love to read it.

Still no aqua show on Aug 25 sailing showing up to book.

Most likely yes, a mostly live blog, but across the street at the other blog site.

After doing one in March where I posted too often (although it was fun) I ran into blog fatigue last month and really lost steam halfway through. Still trying to find a happy medium. I also have less to share since this will be our 4th time on Wonder and I mostly focus on food & my attempt at using all our D+ vouchers but hopefully people find some stuff interesting/useful.

That's still strange about not being able to book InTENse but Wonder still has some odd stuff going on. If you didn't see the other thread, someone onboard Wonder last week said they again announced "Aqua Nation" on day 7 after InTENse was performed during the week as usual. I saw it in the app with my own eyes so I'm really hoping to see it next week since it will be new to us. Also, Effectors and Voices are still missing from the app even though they are in the CP for reservations and running (not that I want to see either).

On board now, Intense is scheduled at 8:30 and 10:30 tomorrow...

If you remember and don't mind, could you let us know if they announce "Aqua Nation" on day 7?

I'll be stalking the app and should be able to see it anyway but I'd appreciate it.

EDIT: I forgot you were staying on... see you Sunday!
