Help! Are all celebrity cruises for people over 55?

Makes complete sense. If you don't have disposable income, then you can't afford Oceania. And generally, disposable income increases after 55 (when your kids are independent, amongst other things).

Celebrity isn't nearly as pricey as Oceania, but is generally more than RC and Carnival. As such, you can expect an average age above 50 on their ships.

we are an ageing population.......we are early 60's and enjoy Celebrity.....we have a nice routine...take it easy during the day....evening meal/drinks, casino, show, casino/drinks......bed

Both Celebrity and Holland should work well for you.

I was on Beyond for Caribbean out of Ft L. the end of July (6 night).  I felt like it was one of the most 'all ages represented' ships I've been on.  But I think upper 60s is where the older crowd peaked. It's very possible they weren't attending the events I was.  I think the average age was probably early 40s.  I'm just over 50 and I felt like I was average age on the ship in most of my interactions.

There were quite a few kids on the ship but I only know that because they show in numbers at the buffet and pizza venue.  I didn't notice them as much at shows and only a handful at the activities. I never felt any kids were disruptive in any way - very well behaved.

So adults of drinking age in most places.   Does not seem like the place for kids....
