Shore Excursions

We booked Apex in January to Norway in June of 2025. We booked several excursions when we booked (we prefer to book through Celebrity), but some that we really wanted were already sold out. Does anyone think that they will add additional excursions in the next few months? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hard to say as the tour operator has to be able to accommodate extra people, perhaps by scheduling an additional tour, which may not be feasible.  If they do not you can try on board as they may hold back some spots for on board bookings.  Also keep checking your planner as cancelations do occur occasionally and something may open up pre-cruise.

they do not hold back spots as the goal is profit . Best plan is to head to the desk as soon as you board and get on the cancellation list.

In five cruises I’ve seen an excursion re-open once.  And that was because I asked about it after there was some problem with our overall reservation.  I am not sure exactly what Celebrity did.

We have seen on board bookings in the past with tours that supposedly were closed on the planner.  Admit that this is not first hand information as we don't typically do ship based excursions, so maybe things have changed - only saying what we have seen and heard from others in the past.  But agree that it is not likely a good bet - only saying it might be worth checking.
