ggTexasGal Posted July 21 #3 Share Posted July 21 You can request the separation prior to your cruise. I've had mixed results, whether or not beds were separated when we first entered the room.

SuiteTraveler Posted July 21 #5 Share Posted July 21 If the beds are not separated on arrival, simply ask your room steward to separate them. It is not unusual for them to have to make these adjustments for passengers, so the steward will not be upset about your request.
mo-chuck Posted August 27 #6 Share Posted August 27 Its my understanding that all beds can be separated in all rooms. But as said previously it may not be done before you board.

Best way to get that information is to have a knowledgeable Cruise Consultant or Travel Agent. An example of where/when they cannot separate the beds are the queen beds on the Jewel-class ships. They are one frame, one box spring /mattress sets.
