ricksurf Posted July 23 #1 Share Posted July 23 We recently booked a Blarney Castle Tour with Paddy Wagon Tours for 16 people. Unfortunately, two persons were unable to join the excursion; so we notified Paddy Wagon Tours two months in advance of the cancellation of the two tickets. Their website clearly states that tours may be cancelled 24 hours before the tour with a full refund. It is now 5 months since the tour and no refunds have been issued. We have e-mailed the company and have spoken numerous times on the telephone with their office staff and they insist that they cannot issue a refund due to internal problems. I would suggest that anyone considering any of the Paddy Wagon Shore Excursions in Ireland, then reconsider your booking due to unusual financial practices by the company. If you need to cancel or the ship is unable to dock, then there would be a definite risk in booking with this company.

Rare Tak8 Posted July 23 #3 Share Posted July 23 Did they explain what internal problems meant? I had a tour with them a year ago when I had to push back my cruise and didn't have a problem cancelling. Sorry to hear of your dilemma.
hunt182644 Posted July 23 #4 Share Posted July 23 Before Covid hit we had booked some tours with them, for our British Isles trip. After months of getting the runaround we were able to get some back after contacting our CC provider. I would not now or ever recommend them. Other companys that we booked with even with the mess of covid were very prompt about a refund.
superdave57 Posted August 26 #5 Share Posted August 26 Sorry to hear issues surrounding PaddyWagon. I have multiple tours booked with them next month and hoping outcome is better than what you are reporting.
superdave57 Posted October 7 #6 Share Posted October 7 Just got back from Ireland. We booked about 5 PaddyWagon tours and all of them went smoothly. If you want more specifics, let me know. Here were the 5 that we took. Probably the only one that was a little lacking was the Ring of Kerry Tour - too much time on bus...Others were great, especially the Blarney Castle Tour. Paddywagon Tours - Day trip to Cliffs of Moher , Paddywagon Ring of Kerry Tour , Paddywagon Blarney Castle Tour from Cork, Paddywagon Guided Tour to Dingle Peninsul, Paddywagon Tours: Giant's Causeway Day Tour
LeeW Posted October 9 #7 Share Posted October 9 The advantage of Paddywagon from Cork to Blarney Castle was getting there before the crowds. The large bus and our small bus were first in, and there was no line up to the stone. By the time we got back down the line was to the two hour mark, and three before we left. Lots of time to explore the grounds but still didn't see anything. Giant's Causeway was also great. Several other stops, including a restaurant that other companies haven't found yet. We just had great desserts, but other folks had full meals. Everyone served within around 20 minutes.
