Ovation of the Seas - electrical outlets

I have read that power strips/surge protectors are prohibited. How many outlets are in room? I was planning to bring one that is a single plug with one side USB outlets and the other two sides a plug but I think that still would be considered a power strip. Thanks

Power strips that do not have surge protectors are fine.  Its the surge protector types that are not allowed.

Except the staff usually makes it a blanket prohibition, surge protector or not.

There is one on one side of the bed, besides the normal configuration on the desk, if you wanted more specific.

Welcome to Cruise Critic. 

 

Just to be clear, all power strips (regardless of whether they have a surge protect) are a prohibited items and not allowed on the ship.
