I need to work on this menu. Okay here’s one thing about the free package. The chocolate martini is $18 so I can’t get one. A guy just tried to do that. Everything else on this menu though is fair game.

This is the rum cake. It’s really good.

If you follow me you know how I feel about public access

food. I’ll include all bar snacks that aren’t coming from a factory sealed package in that category.

This is an interesting design. I see what they’re doing here. You can’t stick your hand in there. But there’s nothing stopping anyone from returning the “bad fish.” I’ll pass.

True you can't get one without paying the additional $3.60 ($18-15=3 and then the extra $.60 for the tip on the extra $3b). But if you don't mind paying the $3.60 you can get it.

Just wanted to add that, as NCL newbies may think they can ONLY get drinks priced at $15 or less. You just pay the difference and the 20% tip on the difference.

I went up to lido. I was talking to a group of guys at the bar were drinking a polish beer called Brok and said I should try one so I did. Seemed similar to Heineken.

They’re really pushing it. Most of the bottle displays only have Brok in them. You have to ask what kind of beer they have.

I think I left my coffee cup in the streetcar yesterday. So i spent some extra time in the room finishing my 4-5 cups this morning. When I was leaving the fall guy was about to come on. I saw that in the theater med-late April.

You need to make friends with a bartender in the Martini Bar. We got to know one very well on our last cruise and he made Mrs. Schmoopie a Chocolate Martini (actually, he made two) at no extra charge. Of course, we ended up tipping him much more than the upcharge would have been...

I’m in the market for a coffee cup if I can find the right one. I’ve got plenty of the 16oz ones with no handle that I don’t use at home. If I can find a 25 oz with a handle here or ketchikan, I get it. Otherwise I’ll take to Amazon.

It’s fine. It’s not something I have to have. I probably wouldn’t have even ordered it because I was trying new drinks. I was just pointing it out for others.

Some could view a bartender giving upcharge drinks for free in exchange for tips as him stealing from the cruise line. I won’t put them in that position. I’m fine working within the confines of my package. I just want others to see what is and isn’t included.
