Hello, I will be on the NCL Jade in early Aug 2025. There will be adults. We want a helicopter/dogsled tour if there is a glacier walk involved, all the better. No excursions on our sailing meet our needs, nor do they on Shoreexcursionsgroup.com. Does anyone have the name of another provider?

You can stop looking at H/G and ISP. The place to look is in Skagway and Juneau. Home - Helicopter Airway Services - Temsco Helicopters Inc.Temsco Helicopters Inc. | Alaska Helicopter Glacier Tours, Dog Sledding & Charter Services (temscoair.com) Remember that dog sled tours on glacier are the most canceled of all tours. Sometimes the choppers can get to other spots on glacier so be ready to answer question " Do you want to fly to another spot without the dogs?" Check the cancelation policies and maybe book more than one and cancel. fyi both cities have dog sled tours on ground without the ice. Check youtube for videos of all the tours and look for the newest and personal not the ad ones. More fyi we have flown w/ Temsco but not to the dogs.

Also realize that these tours often stop in August when there is no more snow on the glaciers. The day changes yearly but with warmer summers, they could be done by the time you get there. Companies will refund your money. This is the company I would recommend.

Back in 2021 we had booked directly on "costal helicopters" for Juneau.    Trip cancelled due to Covid so when we rebooked for June, 2024 we decided to book the Helicopter / Dog sled tour directly with NCL (Jewel).   Turned out to be a good decision as rain cancelled all the morning and early afternoon tours but NCL was able to rebook us on a later afternoon tour and adjusted our dinner reservations at Cagney's  = made the issue a non issue.   One of our favorite excursions.   Have fun.
