Euby Posted August 10 #2 Share Posted August 10 Thank you for sharing this. Now if only they would send me those offers again. I took advantage of them with the post-COVID start-up to book 3 cruises at a great rate (especially for a solo).

Yep...if you are a solo traveler and know how to play the game you can come out way ahead.
Rare Mary229 Posted August 10 #4 Share Posted August 10 Thanks for the heads up. I had one I was eyeing, I will have to reconsider. I assume they will continue to offer some deep discounts

We are waiting for responses from those that started sailing after 8/1 as that is when the 6 months started.

We had several casino members in another group report the 6 month Come Back and Sail offers last weekend. I then verified it directly with a HAL.
palmbaytish Posted August 13 #10 Share Posted August 13 Good to know! My husband and I are sailing for 2 weeks in Japan/South Korea in March of 2025. The cruise leaves the day before the offer expired at the 1 year mark. Gotta take advantage of a free Neptune suite and $2k free play. For our Christmas sailing in the Eastern Carribean I didn't check to see how long the offer was valid for, we just happened to see availability for a holiday sailing in a Neptune Suite booking, this time with $3k in casino play. As an FYI I do not believe you receive Come Back and Sail offers on Japan sailings. But being on the email list is the key as that is the gift that keeps on giving. On the last night of our sailing, this past March, I recieved a certificate in my cabin inviting me back for a future cruise anywhere in the world for up to 15 days for myself and a guest in a Neptune Suite. I booked the trip when we got home, and I just paid port charges and taxes for us both, just under $700. We're very excited! The Caribbean Christmas sailing was an email offer, though. That is a Come Back and Sail offer. There have been a few dozen email offers sent out by the casino since then. Check your account to make sure you are opted in for emails from HAL. If you are then contact the Mariner Society and they should be able to help you getting emails. On email offers you can book up to 3 cruises. Here is the list of offerings that came out yesterday. mcrcruiser Posted August 13 #14 Share Posted August 13 Strange that we get the Casino offers from Carnival Cruise line but not HAL . Isn;t it the same company operating all the carnival corp cruise lines ?

Rare Ready2go11 Posted September 8 #18 Share Posted September 8 I last sailed in April 2024 and received some discount offers via email. In addition, I could see discounts on cruises I was researching after I logged in and compared the price before logging in and after logging in. The discount was still in effect as of last week however, yesterday when I went to look at a new booking, there is no discount so my offers expired in less than six months since my last cruise. Real bummer since there was a nice discount on a 27 night cruise I was waiting till I was on board in early October to book.

Many pax do not receive the email offers. The only way they know is by logging and seeing pricing on the site which is what you did. The Come Back and Sail offers are distributed to pax the day before you disembark. They have a different code and are never visible on the HAL site. Rare Ready2go11 Posted September 8 #20 Share Posted September 8 I have received the offers on flyers delivered to my cabin just before disembarkation too, but those have an even shorter expiration for me- 60 days from receiving it. Very likely because I am not a super player only a minor one. I am disappointed to lose the casino discount though via my account. I am glad I have a couple of trips booked already with the discount applied. One cruise I booked before I started receiving those discounts did go down when my HAL PCC was able to get the casino discount applied to the existing booking. I guess I can always book my new desired cruise on board in October and hope I “earn” a casino discount that could later be applied to that booking.
