Symphony of the Seas..what deck for inside cabin?

Recommended Posts

Think we have decided to book an “extra” last minute getaway on Symphony in October and will probably just book an inside cabin.  This is our first time on an Oasis class and I am wondering if anyone can recommend a deck we should look for?  It will be my husband and myself…late 50’s.  Pretty early to bed (11pm on a cruise usually) and early risers for the most part.  We are literally only in the room to sleep so inside for this trip is fine for us.

On Freedom and Voyager class we usually like deck 7 or 8 if that helps.

Any recommendations are really appreciated!  Thanks so much!

We like deck 8 or deck 9 so that we’re close to Central Park. It’s really nice to use deck 8 to walk from one end of the ship to the other. No noise from decks above or below.

Another vote for deck 8…we love the proximity to everything in Central Park and it is also our favorite deck to walk when crossing the ship.

Another vote for the lower decks....

and specifically the deck 9 CP interior view cabins if the same price as regular interiors.

You will find often that connecting CP interiors are often "embedded" and for sale within the same category and at the same price as regular interior connecting cabins, and they are much much better than regular interiors.

Another "ditto" for deck 8 on any Oasis class ship.  Very convenient to go grab something at Park Cafe and to use Central Park to move from one end of the ship to the other (walking down those LONG hallways is very monotonous, and Central Park breaks that up nicely).

It depends on what venues and activities are most important to you. Deck 6 if you like Boardwalk venues. Deck 8 if you do a lot of specialty dining.  Upper decks 12 and above if you like to spend a lot of time on the pool deck.  If you play a lot of trivia, Deck 8 and 9 for Music Hall or Deck 7 for Schooner Bar. If you’re a spa or workout person, Deck 6.  Live music, Decks 8 and 9 Music Hall. Karaoke and other music locations, and shopping, Deck 6 Promenade. Casino, Deck 5. Everyone has different location preferences so it depends on what you like to do.
