roe821 Posted August 28 #1 Share Posted August 28 I will be traveling with a handicap person on the Escape and we plan on booking a Club Suite or Family Club Suite. Are they all showers because a tub won't work they cannot lift their legs over a tub side? TIA
Two Wheels Only Posted August 28 #2 Share Posted August 28 Have you considered a wheelchair accessible Club Balcony Suite?
Rare 1025cruise Posted August 28 #3 Share Posted August 28 Can they do the step up into the bathroom? If not, you will need a handicapped accessible cabin.

TIA There are nice showers in the club balcony suites, but before you book, go through the Cabin reviews here, Youtube videos and the Escape Deck plans and look for videos showing a specific cabin number, to make sure your travel partner can lift their leg enough for the actual bathroom shown. Don't depend on NCL reps or TAs to know what a specific cabin has.
stinkyharriet Posted August 29 #5 Share Posted August 29 The family club balcony may have a tub. I’d book the regular club balcony which has a nice large shower, you don’t have to step up to get into it although the bathroom itself will have a step to get in. Depending on the physical abilities of the cruiser, it may or may not work for you.
