Well that sucks about the umbrellas. The construction around there was going on when we were there back in May 2023 - island time I guess. Does anyone know if the road under the umbrellas is always blocked? When we were there there were also police at the barrier, we weren't sure if we could go past them or not but didn't see a need.

 

Did you head up the hill to the pigeons from there?

Just watched the new monsterverse movie..pretty good I thought.

going to grab a shower and freshen up; have reservations at the steakhouse at 6:30

someone in India didn’t do their job. The Hub app says “Dover Sole”; but they do not serve Dover Sole; rather, Chilean SeaBass.

It always baffles me, multi-billion dollar corporations, that absolutely go as cheap as possible on their technology related items. I think it’s because these corporations, unfortunately are ran by dinosaurs. 

But alas, as dinosaurs become extinct, technology will take over. (On the downside, I guess to some people, they will be replaced by technology and automation.)

Yeah; you have to ask for it; but they have grilled chicken sandwich size pieces in an oven.

My favorite part was the fruit bowl; honestly!

I live in the fruit picker capital of the world; so we have some awesome fresh(read: stolen) fruit we buy on the side of the road.

i needed that fruit in my life! (Kiwi, nectarines, plums, raspberries)

Had a good day with new friends (7 folks from the Meta group joined me), at Honeymoon Beach. Everyone loved it.

No photo’s; because I was too busy enjoying the beach and socializing.

On a cool note; while snorkeling, I came upon a school of what looked like fish swimming straight up and down..but they looked really thin..like pencils!

then they all slipped sideways and swam away and then I realized it was a bunch of Carribean Reef Squid’s!! So cool to see that!

The chili lobster on this ship unfortunately is definitely not the same as the one on the Celebration.

Maybe cuz when I had it, it was the FIRST week of them having it so they were using regular lobsters..here on Mardi Gras, they’re using spiny lobsters 😞

I must admit I am enjoying this NEW @KarmaCruiser this time around vs the previous guy!
