QUERY RE: SET SAIL ACCOUNT

We will be sailing out of Vancouver in a couple of weeks and we intend to use cash on our account.

Will they accept CAD or does it have to be USD?

Thanks in advance guys.

All on board accounts regardless of where in the world you book from, live in or sail from are in USD.  You can exchange currency but the rates are worse than doing it at home

We were on Liberty last week and we our from the UK and had some GBP with us, I used that to pay off some of our on board account with no issue. The rate wasn't the best, but they did confirm I could have set up a cash account with it had I wanted to. I assume the same with other currencies.

You can go to their gifts and gear page and purchase a gift card for yourself pre cruise, and then have it added to your on board account once you board the ship at guest services.

That seems like a good option as well.
