gizmodog Posted September 5 #1 Share Posted September 5 (edited) Sailing in beginning of October from Athens…for anyone who has cruised during this time, is the weather in the evening cool outside and on the ship? Wondering about packing long sleeve tops. Edited September 5 by gizmodog
Rare Mary229 Posted September 5 #2 Share Posted September 5 Regardless of how warm I pack a light sweater or hoodie. It can be cool inside the ship and if it rains it can be cool 1

gizmodog Posted September 5 Author #5 Share Posted September 5 So I take it it is still pretty warm that time of the year, dang, I was hoping for cooler 60’s 70’s. So out come my sleeveless shirts.

So out come my sleeveless shirts. And that is a key point. You and I probably agree on temps, and rarely wear warmer clothes. Others bundle up if it drops below 80. It's all subjective. Helps to do research for the temperature data, as opposed to anecdotal info.
CNSJ Posted September 6 #7 Share Posted September 6 Tough to lock in weather that time of year. We have been hot in mid October in Athens and further south in Crete, Rhodes, etc. Bring short sleeves and as others have said, a jacket. What matters is that October is perhaps the best time to visit the Eastern Med!
Dancing Shoes Posted September 6 #8 Share Posted September 6 I find the ship too cold with the A/C. I always bring a wrap and/or jacket.
