OBC and Pre-Paid Question

We will be on the Emerald next month. We prepaid for everything.  No outstanding balance.

 

In reviewing the latest trip summary received, the initial miscellaneous charge ($200x2) is now converted/listed as OBC. Available once on board. We paid to have $400 OBC.

 

If we spend $200 on the inch gold (no) and Princess t-shirts (maybe) would the unspent balance be credited back to our credit card. Or is it a case of snooze you lose!

OBC you've purchased is refundable.

Anything over $25 is sent as a check 2-12 weeks after sailing (has to be referred to landside accounting then cut and mailed) or via bank transfer for Australia/NZ (from what I understand).

You can also cash it out via slot machine in casino.  Set up your account on machine (very easy and clear directions), "deposit" the amount of OBC you have left, take a spin or two and cash out..

With the casino option you must play. You can't just cash out like an ATM. After you play a while then you can cash out with either more than you started with or less. You can ply slots or table games.
