Rare Essiesmom Posted September 23 #1 Share Posted September 23 I am going to post a list of the ships that I can find a schedule for that will be transiting the canal, by month. Occasionally, if you check Marine Traffic at the canal, you might see a ship not on the list. Some are pretty obscure… Key: EB=eastbound WB=westbound PT=partial transit NL=new locks or ACL. Agua Clara Locks Most of the transits will be in the old locks. September: 28 Celebrity Summit EB 30 Safari Voyager. EB October: 7. Brilliance of the Seas. EB Fram. WB 8. Roald Amundsen. WB 10. Sapphire Princess. EB. NL 11. Carnival Miracle. EB 15. Nieuw Amsterdam. EB Radiance of the Seas. EB 17 Viking Neptune. WB 20. Carnival Spirit. EB 21. Eurodam EB National Geographic Quest. EB 28. Viking Polaris. WB 29. Viking Mars WB NCL Encore. EB. NL 31. Viking Octantis WB Viking Mars EB i will be capturing as many as I can from the canal webcams and posting on the thread Look who’s in the canal today…I am posting a pic of the website for the cams (sorry, I haven’t mastered copy/paste on an iPad) so anyone who wishes to watch the transits can, and feel free to post captures there. Some of the ships have wonderful bridge cams, too.
hal2008 Posted Tuesday at 04:06 AM #2 Share Posted Tuesday at 04:06 AM (edited) So, is it ok to assume that this year, drought has not cancelled any cruise ship transits or modified one from full to partial? Those doing full transit are less likely to be impacted . Worried about those coming from Atlantic turning around in Panama city (Amador) being instead turned around at Colon.
