Eurodam and Koningsdam in Juneau Harbour on September 30, 2024

This is the last sail in to Juneau for the season....unfortunately, I won't be able to be here, but hope to see you all in Port Everglades on October 19 for Volendam’s sail in!! 

 

ms Eurodam will be at CT dock from 12:30 pm to 10:00 pm, and she is on a 7 day Alaska Explorer, and MS Koningsdam will be at FKL dock from 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm and she is on a 7 day Alaska Inside Passage. 

 

 

 

 

 

Also in port is Norwegian Bliss at AS dock (2:30 pm – 10:00 pm)

Due to dangerous weather we will be docked in Juneau for the next two days, and will unfortunately not go to Glacier Bay.

Besides these 2 - Noordam is heading to Japan and is the only other BHB still in Alaska waters - and on her way to Japan [NOT stopping in Juneau of course].

 

Nieuw Amsterdam left Vancouver yesterday heading for PEV/FLL for Oct 20 arrival. 

 

Volendam cited in the OP - will be dry docking from PEV  Oct 19th - so no knowing what time she will actually depart - minus passengers. She will be gone until November 9th returning to PEV for sailaway.

I just checked the tracker - Kdam is just passing Thane - she will be in Juneau shortly. Must have to do with the letter posted in #3.

Looks like she is going to either CT or FKL pier - not AS. Maybe a result of staying overnight.

Eurodam already passed Tracy Arm - she might be early too. - just not as early as Kdam. who was 4 hours early to her docking. 9:30 am AST

I would have too - but i just by chance checked the tracker and there she was in the channel by Thane.

Had I been home, I would have noticed your posts and joined you. Hope Eurodam arrives before prep for supper begins. If not, see you in PEV/FLL.

Is HAL supposed to refund port fees etc for all this missed itinerary…I ask and was told no. Curious.  60 cruises, and never had this situation before.

We've had port fees refunded when we've not been able to dock as scheduled.

we had our two stops that were not made due to weather conditions 

added to our accounts

Well I know it is not their fault, however we did pay for these stops. Will see what happens. So far not impressed
