Rob749 Posted 16 hours ago #1 Share Posted 16 hours ago Going on Princess cruise line, any recommendations for reasonably priced car park please with easy transfer to wherever Princess embarks from. There seem to be quite a few options. Thank you.
sddsddean Posted 15 hours ago #2 Share Posted 15 hours ago Last couple of times, we've used https://www.parking4cruises.co.uk/ with no problems. They do take your car to their off site car park, but it was always ready for us with only a couple of miles on the clock when we came back! Thejuggler Posted 14 hours ago #3 Share Posted 14 hours ago Southampton council multi storey car parks are the best value, about £40 a week.
exlondoner Posted 13 hours ago #4 Share Posted 13 hours ago We have always used CPS as it is both efficient and very convenient. But I’m not sure it meets your criterion of ‘reasonably priced’. On our last cruise it was significantly cheaper to use a taxi both ways, so we did that. This obviously won’t apply to you but it is indicative.
blloyd78 Posted 15 minutes ago #5 Share Posted 15 minutes ago CPS is not cheap (or even reasonably priced), but at least your car is waiting for you when you return. We tend to choose the Stay-and-Park option at the Holiday Inn Express. It's located a bit out of town, but we find the combination of pre-cruise stay plus included taxi fares to and from the port to be excellent value (and cheaper than CPS). https://www.journeyintodarkness.co.uk/no-escape
