Enchanted Princess Casino

We will be sailing on the Enchanted Princess this month (New England and Canada) and I am wondering if the casino is open when the ship is in port.  Are the regulations such that the casino is closed when the ship is in the US ports (Boston, Bar Harbor, Newport) or in the Canadian ports?

 Casinos will be closed in all those ports until 1-2 hours after sailing

I'm pretty certain that the casino is closed in ALL ports (not just North American), is it not?

On all of the cruises I have been on, the casino has never been open while in port, with the exception of Bermuda at night.

The only time casino stays open is on one island nation if I am not mistaken and on the private islands.  Otherwise, they are closed in port as they would have to comply with local laws and gambling authorities.

Just got off the Enchanted. We seemed to leave every port late. In Portland we didn’t leave until nine pm. Casino stayed close for at least an hour after sail away but the slots stayed open all night long. Terrible slot variety. Remember that there are additional non smoking slots in the room next door ( the former Take Five). Did well on Mo Mummy then gave it back. One complementary slot tournament for anyone with over 1500 points that was poorly run.
