Canadian Thanksgiving

Will be on the Majestic Princess On October 14, our Canadian Thanksgiving.  Does anyone know if Princess does anything special when travelling on this day?

we have on previous cruises....a special display in the Piazza and turkey dinner.

I’ve never seen it, but maybe it would be possible on a cruise out of Canada. I’ve never sailed from there in October.

We've seen it recognized on both Canada/New England cruises as well as a couple of Panama Canal cruises when there were quite a few Canadians on board.  Typically we only saw decorations in the lobby as well as a mention in the Patter.

In 2016 a friend in Toronto deemed me an "honorary Canadian" and to a genuine Canadian, I wish you Happy Thanksgiving. Personally, I am thankful for the start of another hockey season

@jimlouisesophie Be sure to see one of the restaurant managers where you plan to eat on Thanksgiving. A request for a traditional turkey dinner can be made at least 24 hours in advance. I was on Majestic last year for this occasion and they provided me with exactly what I wanted. Be specific and ask nicely! Wasn't hard to do at all. Enjoy 😋

Princess had a special drink for the Canadian Thanksgiving.....it looked better than it tasted. Oh, and by the way, this was on a Hawaiian cruise.

They also had cakes in the buffet for the Canadian Thanksgiving.
