Live From Zenith...Grand Caymen

Hi, I just wanted to drop a note in.......I am in a Thai Restaurant

with cheap internet access;)

Having a great time on Zenith:D Wonderful crew (as usual),

great food, and my cabin steward is awesome too. He is Gabrial

from India and I had a problem with my mattress...instead of an egg

crate he was able to swap out a totally different one for me:) and

I slept like a baby!

 

This particular cruise has 400+kids BUT they all seem to be

really well behaved:). (Easter cruising is family time). No "Spring Break" problems!!

 

Pool chairs look fine to me too. My carpet in my cabin looks nice...

I did have to ask for ( and got immediately) a new shower curtain.

I am in 5078.....window.

 

Anyway, for anyone cruising on her in the near future..she looks

very good to me.

We have the same waiter as I had in February...Milan!

 

So, just letting ya'll know we are having an excellent time:D

I will be going on the Zenith in September (Bermuda) and I was wondering if you could take a look at the deck chairs on the upper deck above the pool.

 

When we were on the Horizon last year, they had replaced the usual aluminum and plasitic strap chairs with white solid plastic chairs covered with canvas. These hard plastic chairs were very uncomfortable. They had the old normal chairs still by the pool at the time. I am thinking they had the hard plastic lounge chairs on the Horizon just to get by until it was sold.

 

So, I am hoping that current Zenith the lounge chairs are still the old reliables!

 

Any comments would be helpful.

Lois ~ thanks so much for checking in! I knew you'd have a terrific time. You always do! So glad to hear you are having a great time. It wasn't the pool deck chairs that bothered me (we mostly used the ones that had cushions). It was the chairs at the aft grille that I had a problem with. :o Thanks so very much for saying hello to Aslan for me! And tell Nikolina in the Cova we all said hello too.

 

adegner ~ no need to worry. When we were on Zenith last month the upper pool deck loungers were the strap kind. You should be fine.

Hi, last day on the ship.......they had the Midnite Buffet last evening...

surprised for a 6 nighter! It was lovely as usual.:)

 

Now this one has to last me until October.......that is the next

time I cruise again!
