Don't even need him...or the quartermaster... an officer just sets the computer and they can stand on the dock (well, actually leave with the harbor pilot) waving bye-bye, hop on a plane, and meet us at the next port.

But my 5 are:

1. %#&* Platinum shopping guide...to try and get my money's worth out of it by getting to most of the ports included in it within a year (I know, it'll never happen)

2. Jack

3. Jim

4. Johnny

5. caffeine free diet coke (for the above 3 friends) :D

I can understand that Jim would be good friends with Diet Coke, but I NEVER let my Jack mix 'n' mingle!! And Johnny mixed?? Oh, the horror! ;)

To the folks who listed duct tape: I'm dying to know what on earth you use it for!

Inquiring minds want to know!

Suze!

TAKE IT. You just never know when your suitcase is gonna bust open. Ours did.

Also, the duct tape is good for blisters.

  1. Small bottle of Purell hand sanitizer
  2. Digital camera
  3. Apple laptop
  4. Sunglasses
  5. CPAP machine (for sleep apnea)

I too cannot function without my cpap. How do you carry it? Do you pack it in checked luggage or carryon? In a large inside cabin, is there a convenient location near the bed to use it?

My list would include also:

medicines

Ipod

wife

wallet(filled)

2. Journals (yes, sometimes more than one)

3. Laptop (for live photo posting and blogging, come on! :D)

4. Extra suitcase space (for all the stuff you bring back...forgot this last time)

5. Bible

Aside from the obvious items: passport, money, makeup, MY HUBBY, etc.

1. Extension cord/power strip

2. Air freshener for bathroom =)

3. Small backpack for shore excursions

4. Ear plugs (for the plane AND the cabin)

5. Ziploc bags - it's amazing how often they come in handy

One more thing - since I miss my critters so much when I'm gone, on my next cruise I'll start bringing a picture of them.

I carry on my CPAP not good if it gets damaged in luggage. I always bring extention cord and a power strip so I can plug in almost anywhere in the room. My last cruise the plug was at the foot of the bed on the vanity.
