Voyager Dry Dock

Is it true that the Voyager is going in dry dock on November 20-30? If so does any one have an idea whether there will be any major changes?

Yes, the drydock is 20-30 November. We were booked on back to backs 20 and 27 November that were cancelled. I don't know the list of refurbishments planned.

We recently were on the Voyager and were told a couple of things to happen. One is that if they can overcome the difficulties of the European pre wiring of the ship and the size of the current openings then flat screened TV's are going in. Yeah!

 

The rest of what was told us is routine maintenance, i.e. duct cleaning, engine check-ups, silver polished and other things we would not see but are necessary. Noone mentioned carpets, bedding, etc. but perhaps that is a given.

Did the carpets get updated? Were all beds updated?

Do "bad vibes" remain?

No flat screens in our suite (747) as of June 12. The bedding was very nice and new, totally comfortable. Carpet looked new.
