Hotwire 2.5* North Ft Lauderdale

Hotwire has a 2.5* in North Ft Lauderdale for Dec 28 for $93 (total $109). It has suite, pool, laundry, fitness centre, business, kitchenette.

 

Any idea what hotel that would be?

 

This for post cruise so we will there all day to enjoy Ft Lauderdale. There are 5 adults in my group. I have on hold Embassy Suites for $220 (total). You get breakfast, manager's special and I would only need 1 room. Could get Renaissance on Hotwire for $117 but would need two rooms so that would make it more expensive with no breakfast. Could get Sleep Inn for $130 but I have heard not much to do around the area. We want to do the water taxi. We are going with 2 other family groups and I don't think that they want to spend $220.

According to Betterbidding, it MIGHT be the Ramada Plaza or the Holiday inn.

If you try PL, avoid bidding 2.5 star. I did thatr and got the Courtyard, which had paper thin walls and old beds.

According to the directions that Beav gave-summary of winning bids-I think it would be TownPlaceSuites Ft lauderdale west. But I could be wrong.

You will need a car for North Fort Lauderdale, or be prepared for big taxi bills. The Ramada Plaza is passable and right on the beach, but most properties are not near the beach.

 

The Embassy Suites may not be such a bad deal.
