Tantsee Posted August 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2006 For those of you who have sailed on back-to-back cruises (on the same ship), do you tip at the end of each week or at the end of your cruise? We have cruised many times, but one this will be our first back-to-back.
Rare LHT28 Posted August 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2006 Usually at the end of the first cruise then the end of the 2nd If the 1st is 7day cruise then you tip then most of the other PAX will be disembarking the next day. most cruiselines these days add the tips to your S&S card and you will get the bill under your door after the 1st cruise
cruisetarp Posted August 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2006 We did a B2B last year and we tipped at the end of each cruise. For the 2nd cruise we had the same table in the DR but had a completely different staff (waiter, Ass't waiter and head waiter) so I'm happy we took care of the first group when we did. Apparently they rotate the DR staff quite frequently.
ArizonaTracie Posted August 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2006 we also did our tipping at the end of each cruise.
Rare Keith1010 Posted August 20, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2006 Defiintely tip at the end of each cruise. It is possible that you will have a different waiter, assistant waiter and possibly even a different cabin stweward (even if you have the same room your cabin steward could be at the end of their contract).
