No jr. suites do not get perks....just two cruise credits

I saw this statement in another thread. Anyone know the perks that are being referred to?

One perk might be use of the concierge lounge and concierge services if the ship has one.

 

Another might be priority boarding and debarkation, but I think that may vary according to ship and sailing.

Robes and slippers as well. You have to be platinum to get that. Basically the 2 times I was in a JS as a gold C & A member got me nothing but 2 cruise credits. Just a larger room with balcony.

We have sailed in a JS and had priority boarding, robes for use in our cabin (usually have to ask for them), larger cabin with bathtub/shower, upgraded toiletry amenities and 2 cruise credits :)

Ditto to ckrobyn! That's what we always get before we hit platinum. On 2 cruises the robes were already there. If they don't have them in the room, I really don't care--I always bring my own, anyway! Much more comfy! We book the JS for the space--not the amenities, anyway!

I just went through this with RC reservations for Mariner. I called 3 times and got the same exact answer each time. The JS has NO perks other than the 2 credits. Only GS and above gets you priority baording and debarking along with concierge service and lounge.

Maxxboy, the OP asked what were the perks that JS as opposed to higher-ranking suites did NOT get and I told him!

We had a JS on Explorer from NJ last June and got priority check in, then got on the bus for the short trip to the pier.

The JS is considered a suite for the priority boarding check-in which is restricted to suite guests...at least it was in Seattle, Galveston, Boston and Port Canaveral...
