Hairdryers on the Freedom

Does anyone know what kind of hairdryers are on the Freedom if any?

Don't remember the brand, but there is a blow dryer in the upper right hand drawer of the dresser. Hope this helps.

They're the same kind most hotels use--not very powerful. I always bring my own--same with shampoo and conditioner. I never took their hairdryer out of the drawer!!!

I used the hairdryer every day, and it actually worked very well. Doesn't get real hot, but don't need it to.

My point is, if you don't like the hairdryers in hotels, you won't like them on the ship! I have thick, long hair--it takes forever to dry with those little dryers. They barely blow at all--just doesn't work for me. If you have thin, short hair, you should be ok.

Thanks for all the information. I'm still trying to decide to bring mine or not. I'm trying not to pack to much stuff.

Hi Nellie, They are often the type where you need to hold down the button to keep it running. Boy for those with thick or long hair that can get painful. It is hard wired in the vanity draw, so you won't be able to move it. (If I am incorrect previous FOS cruisers, please advise.)

As for the hairdryers...you bet, we used them when we were on the freedom for our one night sailing!
