T&J Posted November 1, 2006 Author #226 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Actually Stacey, we prefer about 7:00, though at home we usually eat between 6 and 6:30. That's why Personal Choice works so well for us on most occasions, but of course on ships like the Pacific and Royal, you do have to make a committment. Arlene Actually Stacey and Arlene I am more of 7:00pm to 7:30pm person as well. But I had to make a committment and Arlene was pointing a gun at my head! T&J Posted November 1, 2006 Author #227 Share Posted November 1, 2006 You are addicted. Going to an internet cafe???? Ok, my treadmill time is over and I didn't even have to wait one minute. Imagine that. :) What is the cut for this cruise's most travelled luncheon? Let's see if we can make the cut this time. Coffee/breakfast awaits. Later. Arlene Actually I think you have easily made the cut off from what I know thus far...there isn't that many Elite's like on the Pacific Princess. I believe the cut off is 18 cruises on this one. I suspect on the next one to Egypt we would have way more Elite's than on this one. I just came back from treadmill #8 for one hour and there was no wait...EMPTY as usual so I think I'll be sticking to this time in mid to late afternoon. Perhaps in the morning it's a zoo upstairs for all I know. Tony

BTW, I like Beluga Caviar with my chilled bottle of Veuve since you're ordering! Tony

T&J Posted November 1, 2006 Author #234 Share Posted November 1, 2006 We'll what a busy afternoon and evening thus far. Got back from teh gym and showered and came here to post and went back upstairs to my Suite and waited for Sue and Stan to arrive at 6:00pm for some Wine and Cheese. I had asked the Head Waiter in my section after coming back from ashore taht I forgot to fill out a canape card and that I had two guest coming for 6:00pm adn if they wouldn't mind arraging just some cheese and crackers for the 3 of us if it wasn't trouble. I got a knock on my door at 5:55pm and this guy shows up with a plater fit for a 30 lb turkey with about 6 different assortments of cheese, grapes, crackers, frsh cut strawberries, kiwis etc...the palter was more for like 10 then three. We enjoyed the sailaway from Corfu on my balcony and watched the sunset go down as the Oceania Nautica had left first. The view was amazing as we sailed past Old Toen Corfu and the fortress. We went to dinenr at 7:00pm and had a magnificent meal. they served us teh same seafood appatezier as they served me the other night followed by a plater of deep fried calamari with marinara sauce. They then made us a special spagetti in pesto and olive oil with chiles and a greek salad to finsih our meal. The bakalava for dessert was served warm and it was so fresh. I am now so stuffed and ready to go to the "Office" I forgot to mention the restaurant I ate at in Corfu was "l'etoile bleu" ...blue star and had a nice salad and pan fried red snapper with a glass of Greek white wine and walked back to the ship by 2:45pm. We are making our way to Katakolon very slowly and thus hardly any motion. We are scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning at 7:00am and depart for Athens at 5:00pm. More to follow later tonight from the Godlen Princess heading for Katakolon, Greece. Tony

JotWorld Posted November 1, 2006 #241 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Stacey, same here...I don't do the shows but rather go to the "Office" Javier does ALL the shows or a movie and then comes and finds me in the "Office". Speaking of the "Office", it was pretty dead in ther last night and I would have expected for Halloween that it would have been "rocking"....Oh well more $$$$ for me....I did quite well! Tony Tony, It's Only the "OFFICE":D to you, as you Make Money There & We Don't, that's why it is the "Casino";) to Us. mississauga Posted November 1, 2006 #244 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Not Even My World(Cruise)? Bill, If I could afford the world cruise, I wouldn't have to cruise vicariously with you and Tony. I'm lucky we're able to do the 7-12 days ones. Well, can't really complain....we're going on our 3rd cruise this year in 3 1/2 weeks. A 5 day one on the Carnival Elation. That keeps me happy! C&L Posted November 1, 2006 #248 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Hi Tony, Carol and I have finally got our feet back on the ground after spending 13 days in South Africa. Did all the sights in and around CT for four days. A very beautiful part of the world. The Blue train up to Pretoria, your kind of style, simply ultra first class. Then off to Kruger for a 7 day safari which was an experience of a life time. Spent a couple of days around Joburg and came home via Zurich. I miss my office instruction but am doing my best to put your advice to good use. Dropped into the Niagara Casino the other day with some fairly good results. Hope to catch up with you soon.
