redkurly Posted November 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2006 I am cruising 11/30 and I wanted to know if it might be possible to bring one of those Glade plugs in with me to keep the room smelling great for the 10 days? was going to pack a can of air freshner but a glade plug in can be workign while I am out and about?! I know there is a limit on outlets but was not sure if this was even allowed?

newmexicoNita Posted November 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2006 If it is NCL related then try posting you question on their thread which you can go to by clicking here.though the question may be NCL related it is a good one and maybe should stay here. I don't see why it needs to be moved nor do I think any cruise line would object to bringing a plug in on board. It sounds like a good idea to me. mkk Posted November 10, 2006 #8 Share Posted November 10, 2006 Just bought one of the gel-things yesterday for our upcoming trip...figured plugs are so precious and didn't want to be unplugging it all the time! Also..I'm sure everyone knows this but it may be worth repeating...bring a multi-plug adaptor for the (one) outlet you will have in your cabin. Also..if you bring an alarm clock (like we do) it will not always keep accurate time because the ship's power cycles differently.
Toyz711 Posted November 10, 2006 #9 Share Posted November 10, 2006 when they cleaned my room, they turned off my multi-plug adaptor every day. after the 2nd day i just planned on that and made sure it was off when i left in the morning. even low voltage, don't be surprised if they unplug the glade. remember, they are very concern with possible fire hazards. We take a Battery operated clock travel clock 2" x 2" takes up little room in the suitcase.

electricron Posted November 11, 2006 #12 Share Posted November 11, 2006 The time is always available in your cabin on the TV. Why pack an alarm clock? Wake up service is also available.
watchdiva Posted November 11, 2006 #13 Share Posted November 11, 2006 We also pack a clock - not for wake-up wall (hey, we're on vacation, right?) but for those times during the night that we roll over, open one eye, glance at the time and they turn back over and return to sleep. I for one don't like leaving the TV on all night.........I bring two nightlights (one for the bathroom, one for the main cabin area). It's about personal choice, yes? I was just suggesting using an alternative. If you're rolling over checking the clock constantly every night, you should make an appointment to see a "sleep" specialist. Especially if your spouse complains about you snoring loudly much. Ever since I have had my cpac, I don't roll around restlessly at night anymore. Pisti Posted November 12, 2006 #15 Share Posted November 12, 2006 I don't know about WatchDiva but with me it's called "hot flashes" and cpacs aren't the answer. I, too like to know the time on and off during the night.:D
