Bank on Mercury??

We are on the Mercury December 23rd for 16 nights and for this cruise we are taking extra $ travellers cheques as well as cash.

I believe there is a bank on board where I can cash $ travellers cheques, does anyone have an idea of opening hours, and where the bank is located on Mercury.

Have you used the bank if so any problems?

Your best bet is to just cash them in at the Casino Cage, much longer hours.

we were on mercury in 2003 and they had a bank on board. it was near the shore excursion and pursers desk, i believe it was deck 5,,,, i know our rooms were near it , i cant remember the hours though, sorry ..

Alan, I never bother with travellers cheques these days. I take some cash out with me and then if I need more I just use my sea pass card and take cash out at the casino. Saves taking travellers cheques back and losing out on the buying and selling rate and if you collect points or miles on your credit card and you use that, it all goes on the total spend.
