loves2sail Posted January 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2007 We are cruising out of Miami but flying into Ft. Lauderdale, arriving at 10:40 on the day of the cruise. Will we have enough time to get to the ship in Miami before it leaves at 4pm? Want to set up the air but need answers before I do it. Any advice on how to do this would be helpful
Rare Lois R Posted January 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2007 Hi,:) you will have plenty of time to get to the port. Most cruiselines offer transfers and if you are arriving at 10:40am you should be at the ship (even in Miami) between 12-1. If you don't want to use the transfer, there are limo services in FLL and of course taxis are plentiful though pricey down to Miami.

Bequia Posted January 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2007 In addition taxis, limos and the crusieline shuttle bus there's the Tri-County Airport Express shared ride shuttle. At $18 per person it's a very economical choice for two people. When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of the starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "AIRPORT EXPRESS" in red on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you. http://www.floridalimo.com/Pages/sharedr.html
