disneygirl8 Posted March 10, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2007 On the day you board, how long does the Windjammer serve lunch?
Sue L Posted March 10, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2007 A couple of hours at least, we are always one of the first on board, but I never took note.
Happy ks Posted March 10, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2007 We have gone into the Windjammer as late as 3:55 pm and still got some food. A lot was empty and the food was particularly bad as it was sitting around being hot for so long, but we would have had to go all the way till late seating otherwise. We normally go up there at boarding, but had a problem that needed to be taken care of. They do close down all food services around 4pm to clear people out for the muster drill. While it may be different for each cruise ship or line, typically most have their muster drill between 4 - 5 pm.
cb at sea Posted March 11, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2007 They will almost always have "something' out to eat--if it's between meals, there's usually fruit, desserts, perhaps a sandwich, etc.... I've never really seen the doors shut tight...Beverages are available, too.
RoofingPrincess Posted March 11, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 11, 2007 On Jewel on boarding day, they had lunch in the Windjammer listed from noon-4pm. Then from 5pm-6:30pm, there were snacks available in the Solarium Cafe and Seaview Cafe. Dinner in the Windjammer started at 6:30 and went till 9pm, then from 9pm-midnight the Seaview again and 9pm-1am the Solarium.
