What's your favorite drink?

We're leaving tomorrow to fly to Galveston. We will be getting on the ship on Monday :) I CAN NOT WAIT!!! What is your favorite drink to have on the ship? Just getting some ideas!

I like the Yellow bird, but anything with rum will do. We always try their drink specials wich usually consists of rum and is about $4.25:)

I like a very dirty dry martini before dinner...

 

but as far as a froo-froo drink, I like the one that is made with rum and apricot brandy. I don't know what its called but it has been the "daily special" a few times. On Carnival it is called the Fun Ship special, but I don't remember the name of it on RCI. Very good and very powerful!!;)

I like "all" of the champagne cocktails they make in the Champagne Bar. We always stop there before dinner.

 

I enjoy the froo froo drinks they serve poolside.

 

My all time favorite drink though is a Rum and Coke.

When we were in Ketchikan AK, the drink of the day was "Ketchikan" Tea (really Long Island) and I swear I had 7 or 8 of them that night. That was our big party night. I never knew a LIIT could bet that good *blush*

When I was on the Explorer, the pub themed bar had a special called a Churchill. It was great and I scoured drink recipes until I finally found it but it wasn't the same.

My favorite drink is whatever I am drinking at the time. ;) Something fruity with rum is always good.

a Black Star Liner. I had my first one on Grand Princess and followed up by more on Golden Princess. It must be some kind of Martini. It has espresso, chocolate liquouer, vodka, cream. It is served in a Martini glass and the top of the drink is dusted with cocoa powder. Delicious!:)

Splash of Soda

Dash of Simple Syrup

Splash of Soda

 

Muddle mint leaves with simple syrup

Add ice, rum and top with soda

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint

Splash of Orange Juie and Pineapple Juice

Dash of Lime Juice

 

Blend with Ice

3/4 Oz. Coconut Rum

1/2 Oz. OJ

1/2 Oz. Pineapple Juice

1/2 Oz. Papaya Juice

1/4 Oz. Grenadine

1/2 Oz. Cream of Coconut

 

Blend with Ice until smooth
