Radiance Hump Cabins

Recommended Posts

Has anyone stayed in a cabin on the hump by the elevators? It looks like a great place to be but wonder if anyone has had a bad experience with noise or anything? Are the rooms any bigger or smaller than the other rooms? We are currently booked for cabin 8592.

The rooms are the same size as any other in the same category. The area that differs is the balcony. The end hump balconies are significantly larger that the regular ones but the ones in the middle are the same as the regular side balconies in the same category.

Go back and look at the Deck Plans.

Do you see cabins 8086, 8088, 8102, or 8104 on the port side??? These are E1's instead of E3's, but well worth the extra $20 or $30.

These are the cabins you want! See the balconies on these cabins verses the other ones of that class? They are HUGE!!;) They will have 2 regular chairs with a table PLUS 2 lounge chairs and room to walk around.

And, NO, there is no noise from the elevators. You'll LOVE it.

Hope This Helps.

Stayed in 8594 a few weeks ago. Cabins are the same as all of the other E2 cabins. No elevator noise problems because there are no elevators near those cabins, they are on the opposite side of the ship. There is also very little foot traffic near the cabins because no one needs to enter that area unless their cabin is there.

Even if you are on the side of the ship with the elevators, they aren't as close as they appear on the deck plans. Cabins are all in their own hallway. Evevators are in THEIR own hallway. The deck plans don't show the separation! NO cabins have noise from the elevators!!!!

Hi,

We stayed in 8592 on the Brilliance and we loved the location. This was our 14th cruise and our favorite location of any cruise we were on. No noise can be heard from the cabin. Also, with many cabins you look down onto the life boat covers but in the hump(no life boats) its straight down to the water. Great Location!!!!

Bill
