Texas Mouse Posted May 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2007 What is the earliest you can board the Majesty? The book says 2:00pm. We were hoping to get lunch on board. What is your experience?
yogimax Posted May 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2007 The odds are that you will be able to board earlier. There are no guarantees, however. We once had to wait until 2PM to board. I thought it was interesting that RCCL put up signs outside that quoted the 2PM time from the cruise contract. Most people expect to get on earlier and you PROBABLY will. In any case, there will be food available when you get onboard
prc Posted May 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2007 We were on the Majesty 2 weeks ago for the 5/14 sailing. We arrived at 11:20 and were onboard by 11:35.
cb at sea Posted May 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2007 Do try and be there around 11:30am. Once the ship is cleared of all departing passengers, they will begin boarding. Hey, you've paid for a full day and boarding day is day 1! Use as much of it as you can!
mommabean Posted May 31, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2007 Boarding began at around 11am all three times I cruised on Majesty. Gina
LookingForward2 Posted June 1, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 1, 2007 Last fall we were able to board when we arrived a 12:00 noon. We had lunch, walked around, went to our cabin promptly at 1:00pm and we lounging at the pool by 1:20pm! We are planning on the same schedule when we board next week! tip: especially if it's a ship you haven't been on before, tour the ship at the beginning, it's a great time to snap pictures. We usually have a system, top to bottom.
