rodeoblu Posted July 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2007 I just signed on for second cruise of the year, but first ever with Celebrity. Doing the Pacific Coast in Oct. for 15th Anniversary. Can you tell me where the ship either docks or tenders in Victoria? Are there car rental agencies there? Thank you

Rare Host Anne Posted July 3, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2007 Rodeo ~ I merged your two threads since the one with just your name already received a response. I hope you have a great cruise!
TeaBag Posted July 3, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2007 This is the info on car rentals in Victoria. Don't miss the Butchart Gardens which are a fair ways out of Victoria but very doable in a car. http://www.victoria.worldweb.com/Rentals/CarTrucks/ I hope this is a very special cruise for you both. Susan-M Posted July 3, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 3, 2007 The Ports of Call/Canada section of Cruise Critic is a good forum to check for info on Victoria ... here's a link to one thread that hopefully will be of help: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=574737 Best wishes on your cruise! :)

Rare hcat Posted July 4, 2007 #8 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Hmm I thought I replied to one of the threads but the reply is not here (were there other threads as well?) My posted somewhere point was that the Butchart gardens were great but our ship's tours included the gardens & a winery (could have done without that) left little time to do much else. There was a shuttle to the city itself or cabs & it has great architecture, musems, gardens, art , restaurants, shopping etc there is a small shop at the port for souveniers (many items First Nations) & postcards... Enjoy this great port!
