INSIDERS CABIN Posted July 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2007 Are any of you wearing clothes from Lucy on cruises? I just discovered Lucy's and found their basic separates which will work great for air trips, and for cruises as well. Basic separates consist of a long sleeve jacket with sort of a zip cuff, with zip pockets and pants with zip front slash-type pockets, available in brown or black. Pants are sized for short people or regular, and i suppose talls as well. Sizes are s, m or l. Fabric is like exercise gear, but not clingy and not wrinkly, no tendency to pouch or bag. I like the zip pockets-4 of them-for key card and schedule and lip gloss.... anyhow, it works for me....and i have driven past and walked past the stores many times, finally stopped and shopped since i am motivated to find new travel wear--heard about Lucys from people at yoga classes.......... Rare Lois R Posted July 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2007 Hi:) I just keep thinking of Ricky yelling at Lucccyyyyyy:D LOL sorry! Seriously, I have never heard of this brand. Is it like the Chico's Travelers brand? No wrinkle knits? Who sells it?
TravlGrl Posted July 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2007 I wear Lucy for working out and also have a couple of Lucy shorts just for kicking around. They're cute and comfy. http://www.lucy.com
INSIDERS CABIN Posted July 9, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted July 9, 2007 I think i'm a new convert, here's what i know from my first visit--Lucy stores are in major retail markets, stand alone or in major malls, it's a privately held company and chicos owns an interest in it. Focus is on lifestyle wear--it's active wear mostly, trendy colors each season. It's based in Portland. Worth a visit just to update or acquire a fitness wardrobe! It's not the scope or variety of chicos. Soma, which is chicos lingerie store, is next door. in the mall.
Rare Lois R Posted July 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2007 Hi, thanks for the reply. I checked out the website. It is definitely more (what I consider) activewear. I was thinking Chico's when I read the original post but its not in that same genre. Thanks again:)
