ondeckatsea Posted July 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2007 We've noticed that the price for a cocktail at our local restaurants has gone up quite a bit. I am curious. What is RCI charging now?
isujim Posted July 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2007 My Canadian Club and Water in March on the Jewel was $5.50.........some may run as high as $6 or $7...........
cb at sea Posted July 17, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2007 If it's just a mixed drink, not a frozen foo-foo, then it's closer to the $5.00 range, depending on the actual liquor. Top-shelf costs more, of course. Domestic beer is about $3.00 or so. If you want a fancy foo-foo, it can be up to $8.00+. I've found the drink prices are comparable to or less than our local bars. mdwstcruiser Posted July 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2007 Just got back from the Rhapsody. My strawberry margaritas were $4.75. Buckets of Coronas were 5 for $20. All in all I thought the drink prices were fairly reasonable.

firefly333 Posted July 18, 2007 #8 Share Posted July 18, 2007 We paid $9.99 for a drink in a special lighted glass and they of course add 15% tip on top of that.
uksimonusa Posted July 18, 2007 #9 Share Posted July 18, 2007 Adventure of the Seas in May, Absolute and Coke = $5.50 + 15% tip, local riverside bar last week, Absolute and Coke = $6.75 + tip. Adventure of the Seas, 5 Absolute and Cokes = getting a buzz!! Local Riverside bar, 5 Absolute and Cokes = No buzz at all. Not only are they cheaper, they are normally a lot stronger as well, and if you tip the bar server an extra buck or 2 they get a LOT LOT stronger:D
