Laundry on PG?

I was wondering if there was a laundry on the PG.. if so does it have an iron and ironing board?

Alas, no self-service laundry (and thus no iron) on the PG!

How quick is the laundry/ironing service if something needs to be ironed or laundered? Next day service?

I read somewhere that if you send the stuff out by 9 am it will be back that afternoon.

Otherwise it is next day service.

That is correct. I put out a blouse to be ironed in the morning, and had it that evening.

and we found laundry prices to be very reasonable, around $3 to launder and iron a mans shirt.

I did call Regent and was told I could bring aboard a portable steamer...

They are really fast getting your laundry back to you. On the form, it says if you give it to your stewardess by 9 am, they will have it back to you by the next day. In reality, each time, it was back by noon (now this is laundry, not drycleaning--don't know about that). Prices were very reasonable, about what I would pay at home (though I don't send my husband's undershorts to the laundry at home--those were &1.50).
