megr1125 Posted September 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2007 Some get them from TAs when booking, some get them by booking the next cruise on board, some get them by being shareholders......
Tanker4 Posted September 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Some get them from TAs when booking, some get them by booking the next cruise on board, some get them by being shareholders...... And some get them when RCL calls on a Friday before you are to leave on a cruise the following Monday asking if you would consider changing to a different ship because your ship has been overbooked........... Attack Dog Posted September 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Sometimes when there are major service issues on the ship then you might get credits.
newmexicoNita Posted September 20, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2007 I think most of the ways have been listed: the TA him/her self or thier company: promos run by the cruise lines at a given time: group reservations: a pay back for some inconvenience, etc. there is no guarantee you will ever get one. Don't expect one from your agent either, some agents give gifts, some don't. NIta
firefly333 Posted September 20, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Carival gave $25 because they missed a port during Dean, but if they substitute you dont get any extra OBC, just if a storm is there and last minute they skipped the port and that even is not a given, can change cruise to cruise.
