shofer Posted October 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2007 Has anyone had problems accessing the cruise personalizer? I have the booking #'s for my kids and tried to access it and it would not let me or them do it. Now my kids are adults and are in their own cabins w/their spouses so not under the same booking # as DH & I. Do they have to pre-register all that other info first? Don't quite remember how I did it last year for our first Princess cruise. Just seems strange that we can't get in at all.
Murphey Posted October 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2007 Make sure the kid's names that you are using exactly match what is on the reservation.
shofer Posted October 15, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted October 15, 2007 The names are correct. I have all the booking info at my fingertips. Can't figure it out. They are each going to try to register and see what happens.
Stevesan Posted October 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2007 Try calling Princess. Their reps are usually very helpful with this type problem. At the very least, you can confirm you have correct booking numbers.
dewats784 Posted October 15, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2007 My sister and I are going on a cruise together and she had to register after I did to get to the cruise personalizer. So I would think your kids would have to register also. Hope this helps.
paul929207 Posted October 15, 2007 #6 Share Posted October 15, 2007 I think you can only see booking numbers for the person who is signed into the personalizer. Even tho they are your kids, since they are adults, it is their info. It prevents someone else (me :) ) from going in and doing them dirty. notentirelynormal Posted October 15, 2007 #7 Share Posted October 15, 2007 If you have the correct name and booking number ANYONE can go into the reservation. I do it all the time for our group to check on things. And they do not have to have a profile. My uncle has never sailed before and not in my room but I went in and filled out his passport info etc for him.
shofer Posted October 15, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted October 15, 2007 Thanks all for the info. I have the booking #'s because I did the booking and DH & I are paying for it. But I just tried again and it let me in, so I'm thinking there was some glitch in the system. Both of them are going to register to get all their info into the system. Who knows? Maybe next time, they will take us. But it is a relief to see it working. Still have about 109 days but who's counting? Sure hope they enjoy this as much as we do. It is their first cruise as is their spouses. We had a great time on the Coral Princess this February and certainly enjoyed getting away from a Chicago winter. So we are hoping to repeat it with them.
