dippitydon't Posted October 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2007 It's a bit late to be asking this, but I have the countdown jitters. Can someone tell me if I need to take vaccination records for a trip to Spain, France and Italy? I can't find a clear answer anywhere.

These shots are free through most insurance (I have Blue Shield and it's free).
Wendy The Wanderer Posted November 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 1, 2007 Nobody will ask you for this. Just not an issue.
ab0si Posted November 1, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 1, 2007 Just to complete the answers given already .. If you have recently been some place where certain disease are endemic and the passport control officer notices, you might be asked for proof of vaccination. So, if you have been trekking through strange places, it is possible. UNlikely that it applies. Paul
dippitydon't Posted November 1, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted November 1, 2007 Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the quick response! First trip "across the pond" and I am more nervous about forgetting something than ever. That's one less thing to worry about. Thanks again! Rare Hlitner Posted November 1, 2007 #7 Share Posted November 1, 2007 Hmmm. Coming from Montana you should make sure your rabies shots are up to date! Only teasing. Like the others have said, you do not need any kind of shots for western Europe. Hank
