We-B-Cruisin Posted December 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2007 We will be sailing on the Caribbean Princess, Feb. 17, 2008. Our package includes air/hotel. Does anyone know which hotels Princess uses in Fort Lauderdale? ;)

cdncruzer Posted December 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2007 Last year it was the Marriot North. Nice place but quite a distance from the port.

Stevesan Posted December 7, 2007 #8 Share Posted December 7, 2007 They use the Intercontinental in Miami for the Fort Lauderdale sailings? UK pax usually arrive at MIA. That doesn't apply, though. OP is in Canada and should fly into FLL.
shofer Posted December 7, 2007 #9 Share Posted December 7, 2007 We are booked next February in the Marriott-North in Ft Lauderdale. Yes it is far from the port and airport so we took the Princess transfers. With the cost of hotels in Florida in winter, this was actually a good deal, especially since we are booking 3 rooms. Last February, we were lucky to get a room at the Holiday Inn Express on SR-84 thru Priceline for $180. It was Super Bowl week and the area was packed. We-B-Cruisin Posted December 8, 2007 Author #10 Share Posted December 8, 2007 Just received confirmation from Princess and they now have us flying in the same day as we sail. I was looking forward to a night in FLL to chill out before sailing. It will make for a long travel day. Good news is at the same time we got upgraded to Balcony.
