Looking for info on Hotel(s) Princess uses in Ft. Lauderdale

We are booked next February in the Marriott-North in Ft Lauderdale. Yes it is far from the port and airport so we took the Princess transfers. With the cost of hotels in Florida in winter, this was actually a good deal, especially since we are booking 3 rooms.

Last February, we were lucky to get a room at the Holiday Inn Express on SR-84 thru Priceline for $180. It was Super Bowl week and the area was packed.

Just received confirmation from Princess and they now have us flying in the same day as we sail. I was looking forward to a night in FLL to chill out before sailing. It will make for a long travel day. Good news is at the same time we got upgraded to Balcony.
