Recent Qantas experience to and from Australia/New Zealand

A little unfair Globaliser, US Air and American provided both blankets and pillows on recent transatlantic flights.

Was there a blanket and a pillow for everyone? If so, maybe they're learning!

Yes indeedy, and very comfortable they were as well, and I think Continental also provided the same last June when we flew them. Of course it could be that the airlines like to pamper us northerners because we are more sensitive souls.:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Nope. They've only recently put them into Business Class (the last year or so)

And I personally don't expect Qantas to put power points into economy. Premium Economy will have power points, and the availability of this facility is used by many airlines as a distinct selling point to persuade passengers to upgrade to a premium cabin.

Powerpoints have been in Business for some years now ever since the Skybeds appeared. They are really good in that you dont need any adapter for whatever it is you plug in. In my case my MacBook.

When did the Skybeds first come in? I first came across them in mid 2005.

 

Also when you get to your 50s and talk about something that just happened recently that can mean 10 years ago!;)
