melindda Posted December 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2007 Looking for the best way to spend our day in Cozumel. Looking for a good beach, chairs and umbrellas, and good food. Drinks would not be the most important, but one or two would be nice. Suggestions?
patty63 Posted December 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2007 We took the kids to Paradise Beach last Monday. We all had the best time there! We were only going to stay a couple of hours, but ended up staying 6! The only thing we ordered was the Nachos, and they were really good. For $9 a person, we had access to the floats, kayaks, iceburg, tramplonines, chairs with umbellas and life jackets for the kids. Oh, and they had a laptop with free internet!!! regardless1 Posted December 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2007 We were at San Francisco Beach last Tuesday, which is right next door to Paradise beach. San Fran has a $40 all inclusive package which is all your drinks, food, and water toys. We were there from 10a to 2:30p and definately got our $$ worth. The waiters were wonderful - very friendly and great service. There are massage tables, henna tattoo tent, people walking around offering parasailing and jet skis. coevan Posted December 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2007 Does San Fransico beach have Hobie Cats? We are leaning towards Playa Mia or Wyndham.

melindda Posted December 20, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted December 20, 2007 Thanks for your answers, how do these beaches compare to Nachi Cocom?
kenf333 Posted December 20, 2007 #8 Share Posted December 20, 2007 Thanks for your answers, how do these beaches compare to Nachi Cocom? Nachi is going to be more laid back corona type beach. The others have activities for the young or young at heart. nachi and san fran offer allinclusive paradise beach does not. :)
kokobean Posted December 20, 2007 #9 Share Posted December 20, 2007 Looking for a beach for our two teenage boys but, also need an area for Grandma that has shade. Which beach do you suggest that would have a nice shadey area that would be close by ( SAFE ) to allow Grandma to get out of the sun.

I know the umbrella's at paradise are large enough to shade two loungers at once. For the boys I would sugggest playa mia, san fransico, or paradise beach in no particular order.
